Butterflies in the Wind

[Lynn Holly Robertson and Heather Coburn in BUTTERFLIES IN THE WIND]

Based on THE WAY TO ONESELF
An Original Screenplay
by Dr. Tamar Makharoblidze

LOG LINE: The script is about a wealthy widow who befriends a streetwalker and becomes the target of a scheming man, who wants to get something for nothing.

STORY THEME: The endless conflict between good and evil in human life. No one knows when they are born and when they will die. The very last day may come anytime, so one must always be prepared.

GENRE: This is a high concept drama with comical elements.

UNDERLYING THEMES: In spite of the fact that the script concerns some dual global problems, birth and death, love and friendship, people and money, family and religion, its form is very simple. The dialogue is not overtly philosophical, but there is a deeper level to the story for the earnest viewer. The religious aspect of the storyline doesn't intrude on the audience's ability of enjoying the movie as straightforward entertainment, despite the dynamics of the plot structure. There are some humorous episodes in the story as well. The dialogue is witty, the characters are real and interesting. This is a good story that taps into something universal in all of us. Also it’s a new, fresh “voice.”.

THE SCREENPLAY: "The Way to Oneself" (original title) by Dr. Tamar Makharoblidze is an engaging and entertaining story for mature audiences.
